This checklist must be reviewed, completed, and signed prior to the commencement of land clearing services.
✅ Permit and Property Compliance
☐ I have confirmed whether any permits are required for land clearing, tree removal, or vegetation management on my property.
☐ I understand that WB Land Clearing, LLC does not obtain or provide permitting services, and that I am solely responsible for securing any required permits before work begins.
☐ I agree that I am fully responsible for any delays, penalties, or enforcement actions resulting from the absence of required permits.
✅ Property Line Marking
☐ I have marked my property boundaries using stakes, flags, or other visible indicators prior to the scheduled work.
☐ I understand that WB Land Clearing, LLC is not a surveying company and cannot legally determine property lines.
☐ I accept full responsibility for any consequences resulting from unmarked or inaccurately marked property lines.
✅ Access and Site Readiness
☐ I confirm that legal and unobstructed access is available to all work areas on the property, including unlocked gates and accessible driveways.
☐ I have removed or secured any vehicles, fencing, equipment, debris, or personal property from the work zone.
☐ I understand that any delay due to site inaccessibility may result in additional charges or job rescheduling.
✅ Underground Utilities and Obstacles
☐ I have identified and disclosed any known septic tanks, irrigation lines, electrical boxes, underground cables, wells, or water lines present on the property.
☐ I understand that WB Land Clearing, LLC is not liable for damage to undisclosed or unmarked underground structures.
✅ Scope of Services & Expectations
☐ I understand that this service includes land clearing and ground leveling only, and does not include grading for residential or commercial building foundations.
☐ I understand that forestry mulching will leave a mulch layer on-site. Debris hauling or removal is available upon request for an additional fee.
☐ I acknowledge that work conditions (e.g., terrain, density, weather) may affect the estimated time to completion.
✅ Weather and Job Delays
☐ I understand that WB Land Clearing, LLC may postpone or pause work due to inclement weather, site hazards, or unforeseen soil conditions (e.g., standing water, rock, sand pockets).
☐ I agree to cooperate with any necessary rescheduling caused by weather or job safety issues.
✅ Client Confirmation
By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and completed this checklist, and I accept responsibility for all items noted above. I understand that failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in job delays, additional charges, or liability for damages.
